Department of Mechanical Engineering offers 4 years B.E. Degree in Mechanical Engineering. The Department strives to impart quality education keeping in view the global scenario and social obligation. The track record of the department, judged by the employment potential of our students and noteworthy achievements of illustrious alumni, by any stands, is excellent. The department strives for continuous improvement in quality of education through curriculum development and up gradation of laboratories. The department could boast of by establishing very well equipped CAD, Heat Engines & Strength of Materials, Refrigeration and Air Conditioning, Hydraulics & Theory of Machines Laboratories. The department is also going to establish a well-equipped workshop that caters to the need of the entire college.

Our Mechanical Engineering branch is one of the best equipped with the most modern machines and equipment in the region. Our workshop ensures practical machining on sophisticated metal cutting machines along with Welding Shop, Carpentry Shop, Fitting Shop, Sheet Metal Shop, Foundry&Forging Shops. Students go for practical experiments in laboratories like Basics of Mechanical Engineering Lab, Strength of Material Lab, CAD Lab, Fluid Mechanics, Fluid Machines Lab, Energy Conversion Lab, IC Engine Lab, KOM & DOM Lab, Heat Transfer Lab,RAC Lab, Automobile Engineering Lab etc. The department has also state-of-the-art equipments in the workshop and various labs such as material science, measurement & metrology, kinematics, dynamics of machines, vibrations, refrigeration & air conditioning, heat and mass transfer etc. In these laboratories students perform experiments as per syllabus and beyond to gain knowledge and expertise.
